Magnolia blossoms above our heads!

This fabulous tree was above us as we sat out in the restaurant 'garden' (a bit cramped, but we had to get the sunshine!) today at lunch time. We were having champagne cocktails before lunch (My official birthday session as it's a work day tomorrow...) I did get one petal fall directly into my drink, which was funny - they are quite heavy petals!

We had a good meal at Oliver's having already strolled around the Farmer's market in Rochester where we bought some nice English goats cheese, Swedish biscuits and Norwegian nutty macaroons (yum)! I think we have done a lot of fancy food oggling (OK, and some eating too) this week-end!

We rounded off with a stroll and coffee in La Torretta- a little coffee shop the other end of the High street.

It was lovely. We saw sixth formers and teachers from Alex's school collecting for Sport Relief and evryone was chatty and good humoured.
It really feels like summer is coming!
