Bee fly
Like buses, good blips come along in groups and today I have a dozen subjects.
I started the day demolishing a garden arbor with Grampy, of course the screws were rusty and it didn't come apart easily. Many heavy blows with a lump hammer were required!
The sun was hot and the sky blue, suddenly the garden was full of butterflies, newly emerged from hibernation and busy taking in the nectar and the rays of the sun. Grampy's garden is full of flowers.
I spotted these guys doing the same job, I think they are bee flies (?) though I will stand corrected by anyone who knows better.
Then, it was lunch with M&C at Satis Cafe with all the photos available there.
Spoilt for choice, I settled on the bee fly (?) I had never seen one before, and certainly never blipped one.
