Blue Cock
I dithered about what to blip for today as I did take a nice shot of the National Portrait Gallery entrance but I decided, for those of you who might not have seen the big, blue cockerel in Trafalgar Square, it was worth quick shot.
The sculpture called Hahn/Cock is by German artist Katharaina Fritsch. I think it's a fun addition to the square (this plinth has its artwork changed every 18 months). It's a gorgeous shade of blue and I rather liked it against the paler blue sky.
The David Bailey "Stardust" exhibition was excellent, over 250 images, personally selected and printed by Bailey. I feel quite inspired to try more portrait work. Then S and I had a lovely Thai lunch.
It was a lovely Friday evening too, A,L and I met in Clapham Junction and had a fab Italian meal, what's not to love about deep fried courgettes?!
