Ava's christening.

This is my great niece....now christened Ava Kay Louisa Simpson. Looking as bemused as the rest of us during the church service as the priest was really quite bonkers! At one point I had to stuff my scarf in my mouth to muffle the giggles, but that then set my daughter off and soon the whole pew!
A mighty gathering of two clans become one in Buxton to celebrate her baptism and her Dads ( my nephew) 30th birthday. Quite a do as it started at 2pm and finished at 2am with Ava being passed around like a bemused but happy little parcel ! Isn't she gorgeous ?
