Storm Stayed . . .

Working in the craft shop this morning and amazingly there were tourists about! They had been heading for the ferry, but it had been postponed due to the horrendous gales so the poor folk were kicking their heels waiting for the wind to die down a bit. They were also looking for something to do to take their minds off the forthcoming journey!

Up at the weather station on the hill the fiercest gust of wind was measured at 95mph, which isn't what you want to know if you are about to get on a boat . . . !
