Live House Night
It was first time ever for me to go to a live house and enjoy a live show of indie music band.
I was, believe it or not, a fan to Rock'n'Roll and I still am, but no longer to metal or punk, which are already too loud and noisy for me.
The live house is called Hidden Agenda, a place perhaps well known to Hong Kong indie music lovers. It is in a industrial building in a industrial district. The entrance, of the building, a rolling gate, was half shut. We have to bend over and squeeze into it. "So mysterious," exclaimed I.
The band was a post-rock one from Taiwan. It was known as Sugar Plum Ferry by this March. They have a very moody and poetic style to interpret their understanding of youth, home, and other things. It was a night of melodies without lyrics. But everyone in the house sunk so deep into the notes, contented.
Although I literally stand straight up till the end, around 4 hours, I was excited by the performance. I am planning to try live house some other time. X.
