Dicksonia Antarctica

It's been a tree fern sort of a weekend.

Yesterday my sons moved three for me.

It's a very delicate business.
*First decide which ferns you wish to move.
*Dig 50cm holes.
*Take your chain saw and cut at desired height.
*Move to hole, backfill with soil and water.

In fact, these aren't mine, but my neighbour's.
He had suggested I check out his mushrooms, but they were less than exciting.
As it was getting dark I blipped instead this grove of tree ferns.
