Park life

Fantastic visit to wallsend park. It's had a lot of money spent on regeneration and it's worthwhile in my opinion. The play park is great fun for the younger ones and there's skate ramps for the older ones. I'd never realised the park was across the road too (embarrassed by that)! The other side has less play but is lovely to walk around and there's lots of history linked with the park too.
We stopped off at the green tea room, it was an old hospital. But has been transformed, there was a wedding ceremony taking place. Little miss was so excited to see the bride.
