Museo del Oro

The gold museum in Bogotá is one of the most famous tourist attractions, so was top of our list for things to do on our day off. The artifacts are incredibly ornate given how long ago some of them were created. It was very well done and really interesting because it is so different to the ancient history and artifacts of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman empires that we are mainly exposed to in the UK. This particular photo is a funeral mask.
