Spring run off

On the Verde River the spring run off has begun. It's up a foot or so lately and may grow higher especially if there is any additional rain. This is water from the spring melt up on the Mogollon Rim and beyond up to Flagstaff. Eventually this will end up in Phoenix and it's surrounding communities. I was hoping to find an Eagle to shoot today but the winds were really howling today. Some of the Cottonwood trees here are greening up this week.
