Little Lost Penguin

This Little Blue Penguin was all by itself on the beach at Patiti Point this morning. We weren't sure if it was injured, or if it was just sitting out the storm, so we rang the Department of Conservation. They were going to try to find someone to go and have a looksee. There is a penguin colony at Caroline Bay, and maybe this penguin was on its way there. Who knows?

The weather has been awful today, and the sea is quite rough.
