La Cocinita

This afternoon I had an early dinner at La Cocinita in Bayport, Minnesota. After dinner I dropped into Valley Booksellers, Stillwater's independent bookstore. Upon leaving the bookstore with my purchases, I fell head over heels (well, not literally, but it was traumatic). I bashed my knee and my left forearm now looks like one of Popeye's. Even worse, I banged my camera. I was using a UV filter and it did its job - the lens is undamaged; the filter is cracked. The view display is also cracked but still usable.

I've now had three tumbles while carrying this camera. This is the second filter that I've cracked. Poor camera, it's only been a few months. What more awaits it in the future?
