We visited the West coast of Vancouver island this week. One never knows what to expect for weather conditions as the West coast weather is often quite different from the East coast, so one always prepares for the worst. It was a pleasant surprise to find warm sun and only a slight breeze. There were great waves curling up on the off shore shallows giving the surfers lots to play with.
