In her role as tour guide at The Chapel, Mrs TD has to do some research. Today the quest for knowledge took us to The Birth Place of Robert Burns Museum to test drive their visitor experience. We started of by testing the drinks and food in the cafe; later on, just to make sure, we tested them again. We tried the guided tour of the museum, the guided tour of the cottage where Burns was born followed by the unguided tours of The Auld Kirk, The Burns Monument and Gardens and The Brig o' Doon. My overall impression was that the displays were a bit short on substance; Herself will be submitting a full report in due course.

Oh, and we did stick various heads through holes in a painted piece of wood and photograph them.
