Another House Bites the Dust

Yesterday the tell tale signs of another house to be torn down went up across the street from me went up. The fencing and tree signs. I live close to a large American city with homes built in the 1920s on small lots, but it is a city where people mostly like new shiny stuff. It is a very desirable area so people buy the homes (which are very nice but old for this city) and tear them down and put really large homes on a piece of property that should have a home half the size. Sadly I cringe at the thought of another building project on my street.
