Delph Pond
An earlyish blip for me today. Having to face the inevitable and start thinking about getting in some Christmas shopping. Oh Joy.
It was pretty foggy around these parts his morning and I headed on down to the village pond again to see what wildlife was out and about. These two residents were having to fend off all the mad gulls to grab some of the bread that had been thrown down for them. They were also keeping a close eye on the dogs being walked around the pond, and this is what they're watching here.
The sun was also struggling to get started this morning, filtered through the fog and not generating much heat or light. The nearby Ochil Hills were managing to poke through above the fog and were bathed in a fantastic orange light, but by the time I got down to this level they had submerged again and, looking from my window just now, they're still gone.
Ok, no more delaying the pain, going to have to get started on the annual credit card meltathon.
I SO don't feel full of the Christmas spirit...
