Friends

These boys have known each other for more than half their lives. Last year one of them moved to the Lake District. He is much missed and when they see each other it is like he is always here. The family are down for the weekend so we headed out to spend an afternoon in the glorious sunshine at Chiswick House - boys running around, playing football, frisbee and who knows what in the undergrowth. Me and the moms having a good old catch up. Then goodbyes that were helped knowing that we are heading up there for a visit in 7 weeks.

Now back home with my knee on ice, glass of red and a Carlos curry waiting for The Voice.
