Teasel

Today I have been helping at the school jumble sale – first of all some early morning baking for it then setting up, working on the bric a brac stall and then clearing up. I intended taking some pictures there, but somehow there just wasn’t time. It has been a busy day and I am now looking forward to a gin and tonic in the knowledge that we have made lots of money for school.

Here’s a flower from the plant on our living room window sill. It is a lace flower. It reminds me a little of a sea anemone with those fronds.
