DDW's March Vocabulary Challenge Day 15 : Nacreous = Mother of Pearl-like, iridescent

Another slow start this morning and I took the dogs out for their wander whilst HV did some houseworky type stuff. Then off into town to pick up some bits and bobs and check on the boiler that I fitted yesterday. It is doing way better than our boiler - it is still running.
We stopped in to my folks and picked up Evie the Wonderdog before heading out for a blustery and wet wander along the shore. Now settled in for the night at mum's - we are cooking dinner and providing wine, mum is providing heating :)
This shot is of some rather funky wrapping paper mum has - it is quite difficult to photograph, but it was worth a go.
