Fixing a Hole

Spent a day with three other guys at the summer cottage renovating the sauna. As it happenes, the winter made a return just today with lots of snowing. At the shoreline, the lake's surface was full of holes, as if made by meteors. Perhaps by wet snow falling from the trees beside?
