Huff-puff

I seemed to be running short on air today so hubby and I only managed a short hike up a steep hill before sauntering down for lunch at a garden centre.

I blipped this beautiful, ripe, magnolia bud because magnolia trees are my absolute favourite (along with monkey puzzle trees). Their flowers are so short lived though. As would be the £95 if I'd chosen to buy this tree!

In other news, after goodness knows how many goes at passing his level 5 swimming, eldest finally did it. Woohoo! He was so delighted, as was I, as was hubby, as was his swimming teacher. Treat time. I'm sure I heard him say he fancied a magnolia tree...
