Les Houche - Day 1

After a very delayed start to our trip, we finally arrived in Les Houche at 9.30pm last night - 4 hours later than expected. Our plane was parked in - it does not just happen to cars in a car park, it seems - and when we finally got going and were taxing down the runway, a passenger got sick and so we had to return to the terminal gate, unload all the baggage and get the passenger off. Very frustrating!

Today was warm and typical conditions for spring skiing. The snow was icy and hard in the morning and by 12 noon rather slushy. But it was fun skiing with all the other parents. It got very warm by the afternoon and the forecast is to get warmer tomorrow.

There is no wifi at the hotel - well there is but it is not working. I have uploaded this by getting a 15 minute window allowed if you stand at the hotel reception! So apologies for not being able to view or comment on journals. I am trying to get the wifi to work so maybe I get lucky and can view journals later.
