Park life

There were no game drives today due to the after effects of the big rain, so we took the hire car and went into the Park on our own. We were only allowed on the tarmac roads, but even so, we actually saw a lot of wildlife: Zebra, wildebeeste, hippo, rhino, giraffe, a lone elephant, kudu, springbok, ostrich and impala.

No lions, but that wasn't surprising. In the afternoon the hotel ran a trip to a predator breeding reserve so we got to see some big cats, though not in their natural habitat.
