Desperate Gardener

After years of struggling with a north facing garden bed in cold and wet heavy clay soil with a brick wall and cherry tree roots to contend with I despaired of ever having anything of substance grow there - but at last this year it seems we are finally getting somewhere. There's still a way to go but here's hoping :-)
