Village church

This is the church in the heart of my village. I inverted the colours and then changed the hues. I like the dramatic effect. It is stunning without treatment but I like messing about...

When I checked on my bro's new house yesterday evening, all was well. I set the heating to minimum and made sure all the keys were all there, left a light on etc. and headed home with an Indian takeaway.

L arrived back at 8 after a 5 hour delay as one of the passengers on the flight had a heart attack and they had to land at Budapest. He survived which was the important thing. L had some cracking photos of the Taj Mahal which brought back some great memories of my 6 week trip around India in 1986. He brought me back a pretty little elephant, carved from marble. It cost the equivalent of £4 apparently.

He also had some funny photos from inside the propellor cargo plane they went to India in. All squashed into a 10 man cabin of an ancient, 1966 plane. That's older then me! He was in the co pilot's seat for part of the time. The number of lights and dials in there is scary. He got some fabulous shots of the snowy mountains of Afghanistan from the air too.

It was a beautiful, sunny and quiet morning in Buckinghamshire today. Since 1pm it's been Six Nations rugby all the way plus a much needed hair cut. Just gearing up for Ireland to lose against France in Paris tonight, handing England the trophy.... Oops - jinxed that I expect. Allez les bleus! (Sorry BOD)
