Bark

Investigation tells me this is a white birch tree. I don't remember ever having seen one before. The peeling bark looked a little worrying but apparently it's normal and I could make a canoe or a tepee from it. My guess is that there's not much call for these in the UK, East Midlands.

Dentist day today, the redeeming feature of the visit is that the dentist himself is extremely good looking. Oh dear, have to go back for two big fillings having cracked two teeth on who knows what. Silver linings...

I can now blip from anywhere in my house thanks to a very helpful friend who has set up a new router and wireless connections. Yipee!
