Watching for breakfast.

There were no birds around when my husband went to feed them this morning. Usually the blackbirds and robins are following him around, almost asking for the seed.
When we sat down for breakfast we realised why, as this sparrowhawk was sitting up in the pussy willow watching for the little birds. She (I think it is a female) sat there long enough to let me get the camera and take a couple of shots.
