Ten To ... or Ten Past?
Clock tower on Nithsdale Lodge. Situated on the corner of Nithsdale Road and Shields Road, Glasgow, this former Free Church is a local landmark. It was latterly Pollokshields West Church and is now a Care Home.
Designed by W G Rowan, 1875-9, in the Thomsonesque Greek Style, it has many similarities to the tower beside the Greek Thomson church in St Vincent Street.
I had planned to blip the whole building, however, there were lots of cars and men arriving at the Gurdwara across the road, and I did not wish to cause offence. I will go back another day.
So looking up again, and enjoying some blue sky.
