'The Surprise Wedding'

We were supposed to be attending two engagement parties today, one for Barry & Hayley, Barry's parents are great friends of ours and I've known him since he was about the same age as Dylan now, and the other one was for Simon & Aleatha, Simon is a work colleague of mine.

We were having a wonderful time at Barry & Hayley's party when they shocked us all and announced that we were actually all here to witness their wedding. They had managed to keep it a secret from everyone except those involved in the wedding party. It was fantastic, way out in the middle of the sticks in Eltham at Hayley's Grandmothers house. A very relaxed and low key wedding which none of us were expecting to be at today, but I loved every minute of it.

Here they are just about to have their first kiss as husband and wife.

I'll have a pretty full day of post work tomorrow as I was asked to come along as a photographer for the day too. Fortunately they had also arranged a professional wedding photographer as well, so no pressure on me.

Just after the ceremony had ended the sky opened up and it bucketed down, we haven't had any serious rainfall in months, but it only lasted about an hour.
