The Cutting Of Fingernails

It is nothing of a job.
Sorting her fingernails.

Not that she can perform this simple task herself.

But we can, easily,
with a pair of clippers
and a file.

She pulls a face or two
during the process
but when it’s done
there's a smile.

And it is nothing of a job,
the cutting of her fingernails.

Perhaps someone will do it for us
when our strength and eyesight fails?
