Warning - touristic blip ahead

The penultimate stop on this Adriatic whistlestop tour is Zadar. First time here, but I'm completely beguiled. A university right on the sea facing west (I lectured with the sunset coming through the windows). An amazing sea front and views of the Adriatic islands. Layers of history including a ninth century church facing onto a Roman forum, with another church behind (see photo).

We're only here for one night, but I'd love to come back for longer. Maybe, just maybe, that might be possible.

And the hotel's nae bad either.
