g trying to take a picture of sam and i, at my request of course (these types of photos are always better in my head than they are in reality, i always forget that side-on i look remarkably like a witch) and trying to figure out where the main photo-taking button is (that's a technical term).

my friend and her kids came round for the afternoon, which was lovely. the little ones always get on great together. it sounds daft, but i've known laura since school, and when we used to get together, there were 2 of us, now there are 8. how did that happen?
