Up in the air
Hmm, so unfortunately 'brouillard' is the word of the week and fog has taken over the north coast of France... and also the coast and inland-y areas of most of Europe, from the looks of it. We explored the cote de granite rose anyway, a coastal area that runs for about 10km in north Brittany and is characterised by pink granite, thanks to a geological union of mica, quartz and feldspar that collectively give the rocks a lovely pink hue. We explored a short stretch between Ploumanac'h and Perros-Guirec, which featured a bit of climbing, scrambling and general silliness. Here Roy takes a leap across a bunch of rocks that the rest of us were happy to explore a bit closer to the ground!
