Demolition in progress

They are starting to take down the old council offices in town - no dramatic explosions I'm thinking as it's surrounded by roads.

Today I have been remembering when I went to hear Tony Benn speak about 20 years ago, an hour and a half on the history of Co-operation, lucid, funny, immensely intelligent, and with no notes, a truly charismatic speaker - where are the politicians with similar conviction and integrity today I ask myself? I am sure he will rest in peace.

Now off for a curry and to see The Grand Budapest Hotel, hopefully a good start to the weekend.
