Presidents

The day was spent down at the Gateshead office; an email came round in the afternoon with some very disturbing news. Later we spent a very pleasant evening in Kays Bar catching up with Quentin.

I popped in to the Lit & Phil on my way back to the station in Newcastle; gosh, there are some very illustrious chaps on this list of past presidents eg Stephenson, Armstrong and Trevelyan.

Oh, and I noticed (although wasn't able to photograph) that the first half-a-dozen kittiwakes have taken up residence on the Tyne Bridge, these early birds catching the prime kittiwake real estate of the topmost ledge on the North tower!
