Late night mouse

A few minutes to blipnight and I'm still working... needs must. It's been a hard week, but I work better under pressure, so it's been productive in a good way.

The soundproofing man came round to quote on a drop ceiling for our bedroom. With a baby due upstairs, we badly need to preserve our sanity and reassure ourselves of a good night's sleep. A soundproofed ceiling will mean that we lose the Victorian features (cornice and ceiling rose), but I think it's a small price... and future owners of this flat will thank us for it. Period features are all very well, but they don't give you a good night's sleep!
