Reedcutting

Reed cutting at Brancaster in Norfolk.

We found this jovial chap and his mate cutting and finishing reeds for thatching on the portion of Peddar's way behind the coast road at Brancaster.

Four robust dogs played in the cut reeds ignoring Tess as she ignored them.

Later when we found the decaying information sign for the Norfolk Reed Cutters Association, these same guys were the stars in all the photo's!
