Up and running

We fixed the shoulder strap, we attached the lens cap string and we sorted through all the different language instruction booklets and then all we could do was wait for the battery to charge on the new camera! But charge it eventually did and it was out into the garden to photograph the only flowers still in the sunlight. On automatic of course, there's a lot more reading before I make any decisions! But it is a start.
