Alas Poor Albert

Not poor Albert at all as today would have been his birthday. More importantly though Poppy got 50 house points for her project and that is most they can get. She is over the moon. I'm sure all your good wishes helped so thank you.

Spring has arrived the sun is shining and there are people wandering around the village in beachwear and inappropriate shoes. I put a load of grass seed down last weekend, so we are guaranteed no rain until it has rotted on the ground.

As a reward Poppy is choosing dinner this evening I suspect we'll be eating KFC ;)
