For Daffodils

These roadside daffodils are very nearly in full bloom. A couple more fine warm days should see them done to perfection.

I get a great deal pleasure in walking or cycling by. Whilst I did not plant this particular stretch, I did plant an area nearer my house about ten years ago. The whole length of the hedgerow now has daffodils.

I am sure that the daffodil police would argue that these are a non native species and therefore should not be tolerated.

That is not a view that would be shared by the increasing band of people who like to walk along this country road.
