Getting bigger

Our lovely neighbours bought this Orchid for us. I think it was 2 years ago. It was brought back from Thailand and was in a test tube of gel. It was less than a centimetre tall, we had to leave it in the tube, closed, until it reached the lid then remove it, wash the gel off and pot it up. I'm surprised it has survived as I'm not the best at keeping house plants. I'm so proud it is growing from strength to strength. I don't know how long it will take to produce a flower stem, I'm just enjoying looking after it.
