I Blipped this just to show the astonishing diversity in the fern world. So many people say to me 'Ferns? That's just bracken!'

This Cyrtomium macrophyllum, from China and Japan. Pretty hardy, grows outside here. I have been putting together a very large collection of exotic ferns here, hundreds of different species and varieties, and no doubt I shall be Blipping more of them, being somewhat of a Pteridophile!
