Winter sports awards night. This is Beth, or Doc as I came to call her. What a terrific, terrific kid. She was named 2nd Team All League, and our team voted her Most Inspirational. That would be my vote for her as well. She inspired me every day. We have a deal: when she finishes college she is going to come back to Oakland and I am going to hire her as an assistant coach. When I retire, she will take over. She's ready right now. Love ya, Doc!
