Clay Cliffs and Rose Hips

A back blip on my trip down South

Day two of our trip down south. We left Lake Tekapo in heavy rain and not far down the road the sun came out and it got very hot.. I got sunburnt walking to the Clay Cliffs near Omarama. They were really amazing I had never been there before.

The Clay Cliffs of Omarama are an amazing semi-arid `badland` of deep ravines and pinnacles eroded into ancient river gravels and lake silts situated on the active Ostler Fault Line. The cliffs are on private land and for info on them.
