during a warm day - when the sun was out - playing its rays along the waters edge - i was amazed at the patterns of gold it made in the water - turning it from blue to this deep burning yellow - reflected off the black coat of the coot - it's such a striking contrast - deep and rich and saturated - something only nature could make up - it was wonderful to see all the little american coots - gently floating in the water - dipping their heads in and out - trying to catch their next meal - it was the perfect way - to make for...
