Observing the Universe
Had a great evening accompanying the Newburgh Primary School P7s to the Observatory in Dundee. The Mills Observatory is a fine old building with a moveable domed roof and a range of telescopes. We had a fine time looking at the moon, Jupiter with its rings and moons and various stars. Our guide was probably theeee most enthusiastic person ever and was had a wealth of knowledge of all things solar systemish and beyond. He coped with ever question put to him by a very curious class who took in every word he said.
The photo is a tad disappointing as photo opportunities were limited but will help remember a fine night.
