Weekend Wednesday!

Today was our day off (what we call our 'Weekend Wednesday"). Very welcome it was too!

We decided to take full advantage of the glorious spring weather with a walk round some local gardens, followed by lunch.

Today's blip is of Mr M (a.k.a. 'The Cookie Monster'), partaking in a particularly favourite delicacy - the honey and nut tart.

Unusually for him, he was still nibbling on it delicately after 10 minutes... Normally cakes and biscuits are devoured within seconds of Mr M getting his mits on them, (he was troubled with an aching jaw for months after shoving an entire Tunnocks caramel wafer into his mouth sideways!)

I asked him if he was OK and was reminded that he was still a bit tentative with eating following last week's tooth extraction. Bless him - he wouldn't let something as trivial as having a wisdom tooth pulled get between him and his honey nut tart!
