Darkness falls following sunset shock!

The breeze picked up today but it was still pretty much the calm before the storm. It's all supposed to kick off here early in the morning. Ciao! Indian summer. It's been nice knowing you.

After all the excitement of the last couple of days, it was pleasant just to kick back and do nowt. Not many passengers on the bus today, even though Kirkwall Grammar sent the North Isles kids home a day early.

Then the 'weekend' crept up on me and stole the rest of the day away. Alas! I didn't drop Gail's Fuji overboard yesterday, having promised her a camera upgrade if I had done. We are therefore stuck with a longest exposure of eight seconds and a choice of aperture between wide open and slammed shut!
