Today has been a sad day. The office where I work will close at the end of the year. My contract was due to expire anyway in July but I had hoped for another extension. I am concerned but not overly worried (just yet) about my future options but mostly I am just really sad that, even given the best case scenario, soon I won't work with this same mix of people again. They have truly been the best thing about this job. They make me laugh heartily and often, they have encouraged and supported me and have made going to work a pleasure even on the most difficult days.
