Loch an Eilean

Even on a cloudy overcast day this is a beautiful spot.

The Loch an Eilean circuit is one of my favourite walks but today we also included Ord Ban, a small hill behind the car park. On a clear day the views over the Cairngorms would have been magnificent but we did see hazy views of the slopes and what remains of the snow from the top of our wee hill. And of course there was the inevitable coffee stop at Rothiemurchus after we'd been round the loch!
